To manage your calendar in Sintra, you will have to connect the calendar integration first.

Create events in chat

After your Google calendar is connected, you can chat with Vizzy to manage your calendar. Vizzy can create both one-time events and recurring events.

Create a one-time event

To create a one-time event, provide Vizzy with the date and time for the event. Include the meeting title and any details you need added:

Hey, Vizzy, please create an event for May 25th 5-6PM. The name of the event should be "Meeting with Nancy".

Create a recurring event

To create a recurring event, include the same information as a one-time event, and specify the frequency of recurrence:

Hey, Vizzy, please create an event for every sunday for the upcoming 2months at 5-6PM. The name of the event should be "Meeting with Nancy".

Add attendees to your event

If you're inviting other people, mention the email of the attendee Vizzy should add:

Hey, Vizzy, please create an event for May 25th 5-6PM. The name of the event should be "Meeting with Nancy". Also add her email .......@.......

πŸ“ž Tip: Vizzy can add a Google Meet link for the event if you add this request to your message.

How to read and approve the event

After you request an event, a window pops up for approval. Click View to check the details:

  • Attendees: People invited by email

  • Start/End: Event date and time

  • Title: Event name

  • Description: Event details

  • Recurrence: How often it repeats

  • Google Meet Call: Shows if a Meet link is included

This action creates the event in your calendar.

Read past or future events in chat

Vizzy can read your calendar events and filter them by date or keyword.

Reading events by date

When making your request for Vizzy, simply include the exact date or date range for the events to be found. A request to check for next week's event would look like this:

Hey, Vizzy, please check my events for the next week.

If you wanted to check your events from the past week, the request would look like this:

Hey, Vizzy, please check my events for the past week.

Tip: If you have a lot of events that happen each month, Vizzy may have issues processing all that information and returning you a summary. Try dividing your request into weekly ranges for better efficiency.

Reading events by keyword

If you want to find when specific events happen inside your calendar, you can search for them by using keywords. For example, keywords may help you check for the latest call or meeting that is upcoming:

Hey, Vizzy, can you check when the call with "Sintra" is coming up?

Reading secondary calendar events

Sintra also supports reading secondary calendar events. These events are usually birthdays or other types of events that were not created under your main account calendar. Inside Google Calendar, secondary calendars will be shown below your name (Tasks not included):

An example of a birthday request would look like this:

Hey, Vizzy, can you check who's birthday is coming up soon?

Using the Daily Summarizer Automation

If you want to see the upcoming events that you have in the next 24 hours, you can use Vizzy's Daily Summarizer automation. This automation will extract emails and calendar events from Google to provide you with a daily update.
