Accessing the Social media manager
On desktop:
Click the “Social media manager” button in the Soshie chat, found on the left sidebar (purple square with a megaphone icon inside).
Or, use the “Automations” button in the sidebar (two lines with a circle at each end on opposite sides).
If you already have the Social Media Manager set up and have posts waiting for approval, go to your inbox (mail inbox icon in the sidebar) and click the “Review x posts” button.
On mobile:
Tap the “Social media manager” button in Soshie’s chat before you start a conversation (purple square with a megaphone icon, displayed in the middle of the screen).
Or, use the navigation menu at the bottom and press the “Automations” button (two lines with one circle at each end on opposite sides).
If there are posts to review, go to your inbox (mail inbox icon in the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen) and tap “Review x posts” (square with a thumbs up icon inside).
Setting up your Social media manager
Browser setup:
You’ll see a brief explanation of how the automation works.
You’ll be prompted to connect your social media profiles.
You’ll have the chance to fill out or create your Brand Kit.
Mobile setup:
You’ll see explanations on what the automation does and how it works.
You’ll be asked to connect your social media accounts.
You’ll answer a few questions about your product/service and what makes you stand out.
The Social Media Manager will start generating your first posts. This takes a few minutes, so feel free to explore the app while you wait. You will be notified when posts are ready for review in your Sintra inbox.
BrandKit
Soshie uses your Brand Kit to guide every post, ensuring consistency. Your Brand Kit includes:
Logo
Color palette
Brand voice
Value proposition
Business description
Media library
The information in the brand kit can always be changed or added to. Once set, Soshie automatically applies these details to your posts
Reviewing posts
After setup, Soshie generates posts for you. Each post labeled “Needs approval” must be reviewed and approved before it’s scheduled. If you don’t approve a post, it won’t be scheduled.
You can review posts by:
Clicking on individual posts in the calendar view
Clicking the “x posts to review” tab in the calendar (square with a thumbs up icon, top left)
Going to your inbox and selecting “x posts to review”
During review, you can:
Change the image used for a post (upload new or select from your Brain AI media library)
Edit the caption
Choose the social media page
Adjust the post’s date
Select the type (story or post)
Editing generated posts
You can edit any post by clicking on it in the calendar view. You can do the following:
Change the image used for a post: click the image -> then press “Add” to select from your Brain AI media library, or drag other media not in Brain AI onto the “Drag files and media here” field. You can also press this field to browse and upload files. All of this is available in the editing page
Edit the caption: click the text under the image; this is available in the editing page
Choose the social media page (press the “Platform” button to open the social media platforms list, and click the “Pages” button to see all pages connected to the Social Media Manager. Both buttons are available if you scroll down in the editing page).
Adjust the post’s date (click the “Publish date” button to open a calendar and pick any date you want. This button can be found by scrolling down in the editing page). Tip: To change a post’s scheduled date, drag and drop it in the calendar view—works for both approved and pending posts.
Select the type - story or post (click the “Content type” button and choose either “Post” or “Story.” This button is found by scrolling down in the editing page)
Approving posts
Approve by clicking “Schedule” (button in the post review area), or publish immediately with “Publish now” (button that appears after creating the post and specifying it should be posted right away).
Once approved, the post’s label changes from yellow (“Needs approval”) to green (“Scheduled”).
Deleting posts
To remove a post, click “Decline” (button in the post review area).
To remove existing scheduled posts, click “Delete” (button in the post review area).
Image and video requirements by platform
For a social media post to go live, certain conditions have to be met, depending on the social media platform you're posting to:
Instagram
Does not support: text-only posts, reels, video stories.
Supports: video posts up to 1 minute (up to 20MB), image and text posts, one image stories, multiple-image carousels (up to 20 images).
Facebook
Does not support: video stories, Facebook Reels.
Supports: video posts up to 1 minute (up to 20MB), image and text posts, text-only posts, one image stories
LinkedIn (both Organization and Personal)
Does not support: image+video posts, multiple video carousels
Supports: text-only posts, video posts up to 1 minute (up to 20MB), image+text posts, multiple-image carousels (up to 10 images).
Youtube
Does not support: image+video posts, multiple video carousels, text-only posts, only image posts, image+text posts, only text posts
Supports: video posts up to 1 minute (up to 20MB)
Tik Tok
Does not support: image+video posts, multiple video carousels, text-only posts, only image posts, image+text posts, only text posts
Supports: video posts up to 1 minute (up to 20MB)
You’ll be prompted to add content for future posts and receive new suggestions weekly. With these steps, you can keep your social media content organized and on-brand with ease.
