Currently, there are 2 options for social media post generation and/or scheduling:
Social media auto-poster automation
Helper Soshie and communication with her via chat
To start managing your Social Media channels with Sintra, you will have to connect Social Media integrations first. Currently, Sintra supports these Social Media platforms for post scheduling and posting:
Tip: Click on the platform link to view its integration guide.
Managing posts directly in the chat
Sintra is designed to help you create and post Social Media content from one place. You can create or upload your own images for your posts in addition to drafting post content. After that's finished, you can have the post published on a platform of your choice.
The Helper in chat can craft creative images and diverse descriptions according to your prompt. However, the Helper also requires clear prompting, and it is best to work on one post at a time to ensure a smoother process overall and eliminate potential confusion.
When a post is ready to be scheduled or posted - you need to receive a pop-up that prompts you to either:
Decline a post by clicking "Decline".
Post something straight away by clicking "Approve".
Schedule a post by clicking "Schedule for later".
Note: if you're outlining a social media plan with Soshie in a chat - it's important to ask her to generate a post and then schedule it by clicking the "schedule for later" button, as otherwise, the social media posts will not be posted.
The posts successfully scheduled in Soshie's chat will be available in the Social Media Auto-Poster automation amongst "Scheduled posts" as well: https://app.sintra.ai/automations/social-media
Let's dive into the steps!
Creating posts
To create more engaging posts for your audience, you should include visual imagery that captures attention and tells your story. Sintra offers you two options:
Image generation or
Using your own images.
Generating images with Sintra
To start generating images for your posts - open a chat with Soshie and provide her with your request:
Soshie will use your request to generate a detailed prompt, which is then sent to the AI image generator to craft an image. You can use images generated this way for your public posts.
Uploading images to Sintra
You can also use your own images for Soshie to use when creating posts. To upload an image to chat, use the paper clip icon inside the chat box:
After choosing your file, you will have to write inside the chat box to upload the picture to chat. Here is an example of Soshie describing her own image:
When you upload an image, you can ask Soshie to craft a draft post for you at the same time. When you're ready to publish your post - it will use the uploaded image.
Creating post content with Soshie
After generating your image or uploading it, you can move on to drafting the post content itself. The content body will be created using the information inside your Brain AI and tailored to your request. If you don't like the post that was generated, you can always ask to edit one or more sections of the post.
Publishing Posts
Once your image and content are ready, you can start publishing your post to Social Media. Currently, Sintra supports either publishing the post instantly or scheduling it for later.
Note: LinkedIn and Facebook posts can be published without any images - Instagram posts will require images to be published.
Publish posts and stories instantly
To publish your post or story, ask Soshie to create it after choosing the content and image you want. Make sure to include which platform and which page you want the post or story to be published on:
Soshie will generate a drop-down box that will require your input. At the bottom of the box, you will see the "Approve" button, clicking this will publish the post to your page instantly:
If the post or story was published successfully, the drop-down menu will reflect that with a checkmark:
That's it! Your post or story will now be public on the platform you posted it on.
Tip: After making your first request to post, Soshie may need to locate your Social Media pages. If this happens, simply make your request again.
Schedule posts
To schedule posts that you just created, instead of clicking "Approve" - find the "Schedule for later" button: This button is usually located below the 'Cancel' and 'Approve' options. When clicked, a calendar interface will appear, allowing you to select a specific publication date and time for your post.
This button will open a menu where you can choose the day and time for your post:
If the scheduling is successful - the drop-down box will change to reflect the date and time:
That's it! The scheduled post will now be posted on the date you chose! You can also find the scheduled post inside the Automation tab. In the Automation tab, scheduled posts are sorted based on the closest publishing date. This view allows you to easily manage and verify your upcoming scheduled posts.
Managing posts inside the Social Media automation
Besides creating posts in chat, Sintra also offers the ability to streamline and automate this process. To set up Social Media Auto-Poster with Soshie:
Open the Automations tab in Sintra's platform.
Locate and select the Social Media Auto-Poster feature.
Configure the platforms and set your scheduling preferences.
Save and activate your settings to enable automated scheduling.
While the automation is especially useful for batch-post generation - it does require having images or videos up-front. It only generates images inspired by the content that was uploaded.
By using the social media auto-poster automation, you will need to choose the social media platform and the page in the automation's settings. In the settings, you can also optionally include guidelines on your required focus when generating your post captions.
If you want to schedule multiple posts at the same time - you will need to ensure that the automation's settings describe the guidelines for post description generation in a way that would be aligned with the whole batch of posts you're trying to schedule.
If you want to upload multiple batches with diverse description topics via the Social Media Auto-Poster automation - you will need to focus on one topic at a time and ensure the guidelines in the automation settings are aligned with your expectations.
Note: The social media auto-poster automation will take into account the information stored in the Brain AI when generating the descriptions; however, the guidelines will ensure that the posts' descriptions are aligned with your expectations. You can include topics to focus on, keywords to include, or anything else you expect to see in the description.
Once this is done, you simply need to upload an image or a video to the automation, and it will generate images inspired by the uploaded ones, write captions for all posts based on the information in your Brain AI, and the guidelines given in the automation settings. After that, you'll be able to see a list of images with their captions and the platforms they would be posted to. You'll be able to adjust the captions if you want to, and once that is done, you simply need to like (click the heart icon) the posts you want to schedule and then proceed to schedule them!
